TechXi Jinping unveils China’s global AI vision at Shanghai conference

China is calling for countries to work together on the challenges surrounding artificial intelligence governance and to keep the technology under human control. At the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai, Xi Jinping promoted China’s open-source AI approach. Beijing also dismissed fresh accusations by US President Donald Trump of election interference. Separately, the Philippines demanded the removal of an AI-generated video that depicted the country as a monkey.
