TechModi launches India’s first hydrogen-powered train

India has joined the small group of nations operating a hydrogen-powered train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Namo Green Rail in the northern state of Haryana, saying the fuel will drive Indian railways in the 21st century. The move comes as New Delhi intensifies its push for green hydrogen. India aims to develop the clean fuel into a major export industry, according to the report.
