Bloomberg energy and commodities reporter Stephen Stapczynski says renewed Houthi attacks in the Red Sea are putting a key alternative route for Persian Gulf oil exports at risk. Shipping, refining and fuel supplies are under growing concern, although some tankers continue to pass through the region. Global inventories of crude oil, diesel, jet fuel and natural gas have been depleted, leaving energy markets with less protection against additional disruptions linked to conflicts in the Middle East.
