WorldSpain struggles to contain wildfires as 60,000 flee around Madrid

Spain is struggling to bring wildfires under control as tens of thousands of people leave villages west of Madrid. Around 60,000 residents have been evacuated from communities near the capital. Heatwaves and extremely dry conditions have made the fires worse. Strong winds are also intensifying the threat in the affected areas.
