Culture‘Freedom 250’ celebrations continue in Italy

“Freedom 250” celebrations marking the United States’ 250th anniversary are continuing around the world. In Italy, Ambassador to Italy and San Marino Tilman Fertitta is traveling along the coastline and visiting areas that attract few tourists. The trip is being presented as “coastal diplomacy,” with Ravenna among the stops. Ravenna is known for its fifth-century mosaics and important maritime industry. Fertitta said the journey has taken him to places previous ambassadors had never visited.
