WorldWitnesses describe a ‘wall of flames’ as wildfires continue to rage in France and Spain

Firefighters in France and Spain are working to bring some of Europe’s most severe wildfires under control. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez says the effort to contain the flames has reached a “light at the end of the tunnel.” A further heatwave forecast for later this week could make the already desperate conditions across the region even worse.
