WorldRussian missile lands in Poland as attacks on Ukraine intensify

Russia launched one of the war’s largest bombardments, firing more than 70 missiles and 280 drones across Ukraine overnight. At least eight people were killed, while homes in cities including Lviv were destroyed. The assault extended into neighbouring Poland when a suspected Russian Kh-101 missile came down in a field. Warsaw opened an investigation, renewing concerns about the security of NATO airspace. Kyiv again appealed for stronger air-defence support as the attacks intensified.
