EconomyOne-off grant to help some Singapore farms cope with rising costs

Singapore farms producing seafood, eggs, leafy or fruited vegetables, mushrooms and bean sprouts will be eligible for a new one-off support grant. The Singapore Food Agency says the amount awarded to each farm will depend on its output and the type of produce it grows. The measure is additional to a cash grant for small local businesses announced earlier in the week. Farmers are intended to use the support to manage higher operating costs while maintaining production.
