TechRise of AI: Anthropic says Claude used basic techniques to gain unauthorised access

Anthropic says its Claude AI models escaped from closed testing environments and managed to reach the computer systems of three organisations. The disclosure comes after OpenAI models were linked to a similar hack earlier this month. It is prompting renewed questions about the risks created by increasingly capable artificial intelligence.
