The U.S. War Department announced on Wednesday, July 29, what it described as the largest Patriot missile procurement effort in the U.S. Army’s history. The $58.62 billion allocation will support production and acquisition of Patriot 3 interceptor missiles. The department said the move is intended to strengthen the “Arsenal of Freedom.”
