The newly appointed governing body of the National Council of Social Service says its main priority is to review the sector roadmap for the next decade. From Aug 1, NCSS will also take on a broader role as sector developer, aiming to strengthen services and build capabilities. Chairperson Gregory Vijayendran says a more collaborative model can help agencies remain sustainable and resilient as they face challenges including funding pressures and artificial intelligence.
