SocietyComCare enhancements will offer flexibility for those with unstable incomes: Social service agencies

Social service agencies say low-income households dependent on gig work or irregular jobs are among those most affected by rising costs. Unpredictable hours and earnings leave them with little financial cushion, leading some families to reduce spending on essentials. Temporary ComCare enhancements are intended to provide relief. Interim Assistance has been increased to at least S$250 per month for up to three months. The usual S$800 per-capita income criterion will also be applied more flexibly.
