Australia’s government says it will phase in digital passenger cards at every international airport and seaport. The change will end the need for millions of people arriving on international flights to complete paper arrival cards. A trial on Qantas flights into Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne was described as successful. The digital customs declaration system will now be expanded nationwide across Australia’s international entry points.
