Russia’s trade surplus increased by 9.44% to $59.1 billion during January–May. Exports in the period grew by $13.9 billion, reaching $177.4 billion. Imports also rose, increasing by $8.8 billion to $118.3 billion. The figures show that export growth outpaced the increase in imports, resulting in a larger surplus.
