Four people were injured after being stabbed or otherwise attacked with a bladed weapon in parking areas and on roads in Saiki, Oita Prefecture, on the 13th. Police believe the victims had no prior acquaintance with the person who attacked them. Authorities are investigating how the four became caught up in the incident.
