The outlet says its account is based on unnamed sources. Koretsky would reportedly receive a mandate to strengthen Ukraine’s energy system ahead of what is described as the hardest winter of the war so far. The Financial Times and RBC-Ukraine had previously identified him as one of the leading candidates for the job.
