SocietyBike carrying 18-month-old twins overturns, leaving them “covered in blood” — the mother entrepreneur developing a three-wheeled bicycle for children
The project grew out of a mother’s firsthand struggle to raise twins and children close in age. A bicycle carrying 18-month-old twins overturned, vividly exposing the dangers parents can face when taking children outside. Michiko Nakahara developed Japan’s first “twin bicycle” in response to such experiences. While confronting isolation and safety concerns, she is working toward a future in which everyone can go out freely. Her passion and perseverance are at the center of the story.
