Russia’s Kursk region will begin rationing fuel according to vehicle license plate numbers on July 15. Governor Alexander Khinshtein announced the new measure. Under the rule, drivers will be allowed to purchase gasoline only on days corresponding to their plate numbers. Khinshtein said the restriction is intended to protect them from Ukrainian strikes.
