WorldIranian flights to Yemen violate sovereignty, Yemeni official says

Abdullah al-Alimi, vice-president of Yemen’s Saudi-backed and UN-recognised government, has described Iranian flights to and from Yemen as an unacceptable violation of the country’s sovereignty. A plane carrying a Houthi delegation home from Tehran was forced to divert after Yemen’s government bombed Sana’a airport. Al-Alimi said the aircraft carried equipment for the Houthi movement. He argued that the Houthis had evolved from a domestic threat into a regional and international danger to global security and the world economy.
