HealthJapan reports more than 4,500 heatstroke transports, over triple the previous week

More than 4,500 people across Japan were transported for heatstroke during the week through the 12th, according to a compilation by the Fire and Disaster Management Agency. The figure was more than three times the level recorded the previous week. The end of the rainy season was announced in various parts of the country, while high temperatures continued.
