Svetlana Grković says she seized her husband’s legs after he was pulled headfirst toward the outside of a Ryanair aircraft. He was reportedly outside up to his chest for two minutes after an engine failure sent debris smashing through an acrylic window. Grković recalled thinking that they would die together if the plane’s crisis proved fatal. Her account describes a desperate effort to keep Ljubisa Karović from being completely sucked out during the flight.
