EconomyTowa Bank to sell securities to process claims after Zentoshin bankruptcy
A company headquartered in Osaka that mainly provided credit-card payment processing for restaurants and other businesses has entered bankruptcy proceedings. Towa Bank says about ¥5.8 billion it is owed by the company is unsecured. The bank plans to sell part of its securities holdings to deal with the claim.
