A pilot for All Nippon Airways was prosecuted over obscene acts against a colleague who worked as a cabin attendant, including conduct on the street. The Tokyo District Court said he had abused the position of pilot in a bold and despicable offense. It handed him a prison term of one year and eight months, to be served immediately.
