WorldLavrov: West seeks to disrupt Russia-Africa cooperation by any means
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says the West is seeking to undermine cooperation between Russia and Africa by any means available. He pointed to an incident in 2022 as an example of such efforts. According to Lavrov, 200,000 tons of Russian wheat were seized at European Union ports after the launch of the special military operation. He cited the episode as evidence of attempts to obstruct Russia-Africa ties.
