TechBoston Dynamics tests robot dogs for deliveries

Boston Dynamics’ quadruped robot Spot has already been used for routine inspections in factories and for patrolling the ruins of Pompeii. The company is now testing a conveyor-belt accessory that lets Spot take packages from a vehicle. It can then autonomously unload those packages at a customer’s doorstep. The effort is intended to reduce the manual work involved in deliveries.
