Councillors in Melbourne’s City of Yarra have voted to end the council’s shared e-bike trial with Lime. They said the operator had not done enough to prevent bikes from being dumped or misused. The decision terminates a memorandum of understanding and brings an almost six-year trial to a close. Shared e-bikes will disappear from some inner-city Melbourne streets as a result.
