SocietyWant to message someone in a Russian prison? There’s now an app for that
An advertisement for a messaging app called “Tochka Kontakta,” or “Point of Contact,” has appeared on the ZT service website. The app is intended for communication with prisoners. Human rights group First Department drew attention to the advertisement. It directs users to another website describing the app’s features, with messages reportedly costing about three rubles each and requiring censor approval before delivery.
