Amazon’s low-Earth-orbit satellite internet venture, Amazon Leo, has reached an agreement with South Africa’s Herotel. The companies plan to launch a broadband service intended to connect underserved rural communities. The service is scheduled to come to South Africa in 2027. Amazon Leo announced the arrangement on Wednesday.
