They said settlers from a nearby outpost arrived after 9pm, claiming they were looking for stolen livestock. Israeli soldiers and police later joined the operation and protected the settlers as they allegedly tried to seize villagers’ sheep by force. The raid killed two Palestinians and left another in hospital with a gunshot wound.
