WorldLavrov: Russia and ASEAN see prospects for energy security cooperation
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Russia and ASEAN see opportunities to cooperate on energy security. He separately stated that ASEAN leaders had reached important agreements on political and security matters. Those agreements also address responses to new threats and challenges. Lavrov added that the leaders are developing trade, economic, investment, cultural, educational and humanitarian ties.
