TechIndia’s HCLTech to invest $1.48 billion in AI data center and open 5,000-seat tech hub
India’s HCLTech said on Friday that it will invest 142.57 billion rupees, or $1.48 billion, to establish its first artificial intelligence data center. The facility will be located in the eastern Indian state of Odisha. HCLTech will develop the project in partnership with homegrown startup Sarvam AI. The company also plans to open a technology hub with capacity for 5,000 seats.
