Russia had 995 registered companies and individual entrepreneurs whose main business was funeral services by mid-2026, according to Kommersant, citing corporate database service Rusprofile. The figure was 22.5% higher than a year earlier. That marked the fastest annual increase in the number of funeral businesses in Russia over the past five years.
