SportsSwords, axes and shields clash at medieval combat world championship
Competitors from 30 countries are facing one another in a modern version of old-fashioned battle. The event is taking place on the grounds of a Danish fortress, with fighters using swords, axes and shields. The championship brings medieval-style combat into a contemporary international sporting contest.
