CultureJoy in Greece as Mount Olympus joins Unesco world heritage list
After a 12-year wait, Mount Olympus has been added to Unesco’s world heritage list as a mixed site for its cultural and natural significance. The D-day beaches in Normandy, Japan’s ancient capitals of Asuka and Fujiwara, and South Sudan’s Boma-Badingilo landscape were also designated.
