WorldBerlin terror attack suspect shot dead by police

A man suspected of launching a terror rampage at a Berlin Pride event has been killed by police gunfire. German police said Abdul Ballout rushed toward officers with a knife and died at the scene. Prosecutors allege that he drove a van into a crowd and stabbed several people. The attack left one woman dead and at least 29 others injured. Ballout was a 21-year-old German citizen of Lebanese background who was already known to police.
