TechApple is banking on privacy to set its smart glasses apart

Mark Gurman reports that Apple plans to unveil its first smart glasses at WWDC next June and expects to release them by the end of 2027. The company may use on-device processing, avoid facial recognition and always-on recording, and keep customer recordings out of AI training; a camera-free model is also possible.
