The EU has removed Russian sable pelts from its sanctions lists and lifted an import ban imposed in April, Euractiv reports, citing sources. The European Commission said Russia’s dominance of the global sable market leaves European manufacturers with almost no alternative suppliers. Italy and Greece requested the exemption.
