EconomyShein reveals financials and valuation in Hong Kong IPO filings
Online fast-fashion retailer Shein disclosed its financial performance and valuation in filings for a Hong Kong initial public offering. The company recorded a quarterly loss of $99 million. Slower sales contributed to the downturn. Shein also said the United States’ removal of an import-duty exemption for small packages affected results, while a hefty one-time accounting charge added to the loss.
