Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said attempts to undermine Russia’s energy cooperation with partners through sanctions amid the Strait of Hormuz crisis would further destabilize global markets, fragment trade, fuel inflation and worsen growth prospects, hitting poorest countries hardest. She said those adopting such measures bear responsibility for the consequences.
