SportsWorld Gymnastics sets exceptions for Russia’s international participation
World Gymnastics reaffirmed that sport and politics should remain separate and said Russian and Belarusian athletes should in principle receive full representation at its sanctioned events. It may, however, consider case-by-case exceptions for previously allocated competitions when binding local restrictions prevent the framework from being applied.
