CBS News has announced the appointment of two new correspondents and three new contributors. The moves come two months after a wave of firings at the network. CBS News is accelerating efforts to reboot “60 Minutes.” Among the additions is New York Times opinion columnist Ross Douthat. He has hosted a weekly interview program over the past year.
