SportsInfantino sets September 19 deadline for Kushner-backed FIFA investment plan

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has given the organisation’s 211 member federations until September 19 to accept one-off $20m offers under a plan to create a $20bn subsidiary, 20 percent owned by private investors, to run World Cups and other competitions. UEFA and other continental bodies have condemned the proposal and its lack of consultation.
