Ukrainian forces struck 11 Wildberries logistics warehouses in Russia between July 18 and 29, burning much of the inventory and causing sellers losses worth millions of rubles. A lawyer says the marketplace generally bears the risk after accepting goods, but liability becomes unclear if the strikes qualify as force majeure. Wildberries’ insurance does not cover goods while they are stored in its warehouses.
