EconomyChina's renewable power generation exceeds 40% in H1

China's renewable power generation reached a record 41.2% of total electricity generation in the first half of the year, the National Energy Administration said. Renewable sources produced nearly 2 trillion kWh, up about 9% year on year, while wind and solar output rose 9.3% to 1.25 trillion kWh. Renewables accounted for 73.9% of new capacity added and more than 60% of total installed capacity by June.
