CultureShanghai-gifted red pandas make public debut in Taipei
Two red pandas donated by Shanghai Zoo to Taipei Zoo appeared before the public on Tuesday. Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an named them Le Le and Tian Tian. The animals completed quarantine after arriving in June, while the zoo upgraded their enclosure with climbing structures, shelters and improved viewing areas.
