The benchmark MOEX Index fell 1.22% to 2,209.84 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS Index declined 1.84% to 871.74 points. The yuan lost 4.5 kopecks to close at 11.75 rubles. Analysts said sellers took control later in the session and investors may lock in profits before the weekend.
