WorldMigrants seen swimming around border fence of Spanish enclave Ceuta
About 60,000 migrants entered Spain’s North African enclave of Ceuta from Morocco on 30 July, many swimming or using inflatables. The enclave’s leader said resources were overwhelmed, while Spain’s interior minister said the death toll had reached at least 67. Police later installed a 500m floating barrier as migrants were escorted back to the border.
