EconomyFrance to sell part of Orange stake in secondary share sale, sources say
France plans to dispose of a small portion of its holding in Orange, the country’s largest telecoms operator, according to two people familiar with the matter. The secondary share sale began on Thursday. One of the sources said the transaction could generate 1.1 billion euros, equivalent to $1.27 billion. The sale would reduce part of the French state’s position in the company.
