Amazon, Microsoft, Google and Meta have invested $1.1 trillion in artificial intelligence technologies since the AI boom began in 2023, the Financial Times reported, citing company financial statements. The four firms plan to spend $745 billion this year, mainly on data centers, advanced chips and electricity infrastructure.
