A widely circulated screenshot claimed that former Chinese president Hu Jintao, his wife Liu Yongqing and their son Hu Haifeng had died from food poisoning. Journalist Qin Feng, whose account appeared in the image, said she had been impersonated and the screenshot was fabricated. Its formatting also differed from current Weibo versions, but the rumor drew extensive attention.
